Emergency measures taken to prevent community spread of virus

         Due to the Coronavirus pandemic declared by the World Health Organization, Home Oxygen Company has deployed measures to protect our patients, employees and our community. Home Oxygen Company conducted an “all hands” webinar explaining the changes taking effect immediately. These procedural changes include asking patients to accept home delivery and education remotely instead of in-office appointments. Home Oxygen Company has a strong relationship for remote delivery or “Virtual Home Delivery” (VHD) with Philips Respironics. This is part of Home Delivery Module component of PAMS. This is an integrated system with Care Orchestrator to deliver and educate patients remotely. All patients are trained by a Registered Respiratory Therapist and monitored via modem. Any changes in prescribed pressure that are required during the patient’s therapy can be completed remotely via cellular modem.

          Home Oxygen Company already remotely delivers Portable Oxygen Concentrators after successfully completing a pilot program with Philips Respironics in 2019. “This is for everyone’s benefit during this pandemic” Andrea Ewert, President and CEO of Home Oxygen Company said. “We are in the position to continue servicing our patients seamlessly and without delay” she continued.
