HOME OXYGEN COMPANY, INC ACQUIRES COMMUNITY HOSPICE DME DIVISION 

          Home Oxygen Company has completed an asset purchase of the DME Division of Community Hospice & Health Services in Modesto, California. The acquisition joins two reputable providers in the area with long- established ties to the community. “We are honored to service Community Hospice & Health Care patients,” Andrea Ewert, CEO of Home Oxygen Company, stated. Home Oxygen Company completed the acquisition on the 15th of June 2024. Details of the transaction were not published. Community Hospice DME Division is believed to be one of the last remaining locally hospice-owned DME companies in California. Home Oxygen Company moved its warehouse to a larger 10,000 square foot distribution center to accommodate this purchase and serve as a regional distribution center for its warehouses in Sacramento and San Francisco Bay areas. Patients and nurses of Hospice & Health Services will have greater access to some of the newest technologies available such as virtual respiratory therapy services, real-time delivery notifications, Homefill/POC, and Airvo. In addition, the entire team at Home Oxygen Company would like to congratulate George Herbert, DME Division manager for Community Hospice and Health Services, on his retirement after 28 years in the HME/DME industry.
